w7 In the buff palette | Naked 2 palette dupe review

Are you like me and have never purchased any of the naked palettes?
I don't really know why I haven't to be honest. Urban decays eyeshadows are amazing
and I don't really know any girl that hasn't gone and got one already.
At a steep enough cost of 44 euro my student budget never really allowed me to buy one
and I was happy enough with my little collection of mac eyeshadows.

THEN however I came across this little gem in Cara Pharmacy for 6 euro.
Yes, 6 euro. It thought it couldn't possibly be good at that price but I got it anyway.
I was so very wrong. The eye shadows are incredibly pigmented and gives the naked 2 palette a run
for its 44 euro price tag. The range of colours are incredibly wearable and you get a whole 12 of them to play with. They also have a straight up dupe for the naked 3 palette for the same price but I preferred
the more bronze shades in this one.

SO, If you haven't already picked up one of these go do it.
w7 is stocked in cara pharmacy stores and you can also shop online here.
(they also deliver internationally)

Cara pharmacy have stores across Ireland and they do deliver internationally for
those of you not so close to a local stockist.

DIY | Bedroom Interior - Bedside Table

I am slowly but surely putting my room together after a good few weeks.
I'm far too much of a perfectionist and cant settle on things like pieces of furniture or cushions.
However I came across a few images of these old crates being used for storage in wardrobes
and as coffee tables. So after searching all over the internet for them I spotted them walking by a florist.
Another good place to get them would be vegetable and wine merchants as most of their goods get delivered in boxes like there. Mine cost 15 euro.
So I gave it a quick painting and filled it with some old bottles I have been holding on to for months waiting to use them somewhere. (I also stole a few flowers from mams garden ssssh)
and there you have it a really cheap and cute bedside table!

Eat | Sweet Potato Pizza Base Recipe

I have seen a lot of these recipes floating around and wanted to give it a go to see if this actually tasted like pizza. So after my first attempt I decided that it tasted just as good pizza! and I love pizza. like love it. Probably my favourite food ever. Served with a side salad and some corn on the cob you have a healthy take away style dinner that you can't and wont be guilty after.

Ingredients - (This will make a personal pizza with 4 slices, enough for two! )

  • 3  medium cooked sweet potatos ( I microwaved mine for about 9 minutes)
  • 3/4 of a mug of plain flour
  • 1 large egg
  • salt and pepper for seasoning with some mixed herbs or whatever you feel like
  • pizza sauce
  • cheese (I used a mix of white cheddar & mozzarella )
  • Toppings - I used chicken, sweetcorn, red onion and green pesto
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees on fan, 200 on a non fan oven. After cooking your  potatoes in their skins, peel and mash in a big bowl. Leave cool for a few minutes mix in a big bowl with flour and egg. Stir, then add your salt, pepper and herbs. The texture of the mixture should be dough like but still sticky (they are potatoes after all) If you find it's too sticky add in another bit of flower.
2. Flour your tray or lay down a sheet of baking paper and flour. Spoon your mixture onto the tray.Flour your hands well and start spreading the mixture across your tin. Keep flouring your hands until you have you desired thickness. The thinner it is the more pizza-esque it will be as there wont be too much sweet potato. Mine was about 2cm thick. Don't forget to fold back the edges form a crust.
3. Throw your base in the oven for about 15-20 mins. The base should brown slightly and harden. Make sure the center is hard enough for toppings. Before you do add your toppings, loosen the base from the tray with a knife or spatula. It will stick if you don't! Throw on your pizza sauce and toppings and pop back into the oven.
4. At this point I switched on the grill so the toppings cooked faster. (mainly because I was starving) This also makes everything a little crispier and delicious. I leave it there for 5-10 minutes and boom your done. Serve up and dig in.This genuinely is absolutely deeeeeeeelicious and it well worth a go.

Give this a try and send me some pics on twitter

Review // Mallzee App

So after a minor life disaster last week when I dropped my phone down the toilet
I have since recovered all my apps on a different one and everything is back to normal. (phew)
One app I recently downloaded is Mallzee. It is a personal shopping app for your phone or tablet.
It didn't take me long to get used to it and definitely will be keeping it ( I clear out my unused apps every so often)

It's a bit like tinder for clothes. Swipe right if you like swipe left if you don't.
Mallzee remembers your taste the more you use it the better results you get. It also stores your liked items so can easily access and buy them later. You can also specifically search for an item if you are looking for something in particular. (lifesaver) There is a large range of brands available from ASOS, Topshop, Motel and Urban Outfitters so you will definitely come across something you will like.
Another interesting feature is that you can instantly share your finds with your friends who also have the app. to get their vital opinion of course.

Mallzee is a growing app with lots of potential.
It is quickly becoming one of my most used and you can get
yours by clicking HERE or searching in your app store.

Let me know if you download it and want to become friends!
